Over the years, several of my works have been published in the press, and I have presented programs on television and radio stations. In all these cases, I have always dealt with folkloric, social, and historical subjects. Similarly, in the 15 books I have written, my work almost entirely revolves around the framework of our cultural heritage. Many of the topics I covered in my broadcasts — as well as selected excerpts from my books — have been adapted, assembled, and structured to create this present volume. Many of the sketches and texts included in this book have also been used in my previous works, yet since they are my own creations, leaving them out would have created a void.
