In 1945, still a teenager, I wrote my first poem about the German occupation. From the 1960s, I began writing articles for newspapers. I have written hundreds of poems. I have written hundreds of articles and papers for newspapers. I have appeared on TV and radio shows and have given speeches at events. Almost all of these have been published in newspapers. I keep pages containing my writings or clippings, and recently I thought to compile them into a book, to type them up, and then photocopy some copies for myself and my friends.
