A Few Words to the Readers

A book about any place is not easily written, especially when it contains geographical, historical, and social elements. However, such a work is very useful to deepen one’s knowledge of their land and to strengthen love and interest for their homeland. Kanakis Geronymakis dared to undertake this task for our village, which deserves to become widely known because it has an ancient history and because heroic figures were born from this land, who will remain eternal symbols of courage and patriotism—exemplars for the generations to come, forever.
